Stowe Makeover

We had the privilege of collaborating with the renowned Donald P. Blake Jr. Inc. to renovate approximately 2,000 square feet of this beautiful 10,000-square-foot home in Stowe, VT.

The project began with the removal of non-essential walls in the first-floor living room, creating a more open-concept living space. The flooring throughout the first level was stained in a custom grey tone, providing a modern and cohesive foundation for the renovation. Hand-hewn faux beams were then installed in the living area, adding warmth and rustic character to the space.

A distinctive wet bar was created by repurposing an antique metal cabinet and incorporating a sink with copper-sleeved water lines, maintaining the home's rustic aesthetic while adding functionality.

On the second floor, we removed a closet from one bedroom to create a more spacious guest room and constructed new walls to create a nursery for the clients' grandchildren. The second-floor flooring and stair treads were stained to match the custom grey tone used throughout the main living area, tying the design together.

The completed renovation blends contemporary design with rustic elements, creating a warm, inviting, and functional space for the clients and their family.
